Manufacturing Engineer Position

Join Manpower UK Ltd as a Manufacturing Engineer and contribute to the success of our automotive manufacturing team.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to manage product launches and supplier coordination, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers, with a proven track record in just-in-time environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage product launches and supplier coordination to meet cost and timing targets
- Develop and implement timing plans, PFMEAs, and control documents
- Source, commission, and oversee new manufacturing equipment installations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and support quality resolutions
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and support Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers
- Familiarity with headliner manufacturing and assembly
- Proven track record in roles within just-in-time environments
- Knowledge of Six Sigma / Lean manufacturing processes
- IT literacy, particularly with MS Project
- CAD experience is advantageous
- On-site role based on shop floor
- 40 hours per week: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:15, Fri 07:30-15:00
