About the Role


MTW is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Worker to join our Acute Oncology Triage Unit.


As a Clinical Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients and their families.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and excellent communication skills.


Main Responsibilities



  • Assist with patient care and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Perform routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and conducting ECGs.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Requirements



  • NVQ/Diploma level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Functional skills English and maths level 2 or GCSE English and maths grades A*/9 – C/4.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Healthcare Support Worker or Trainee in a care setting.
  • Knowledge of the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers (2013).
  • Knowledge of common conditions/illnesses/complex needs of patients within the relevant clinical specialty.
