**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical support specialist to join our Chemotherapy Day Unit team at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional support and care for patients attending the treatment suite, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to develop their clinical skills and experience, particularly in oncology and haematology.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,024 - £31,383 per annum, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced day unit environment
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the delivery of effective patient care plans and treatments
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills

**Requirements**

  • Diploma level 2 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year full-time equivalent experience as a Healthcare Support Worker/Trainee in a care setting
  • Previous experience in a care setting or day unit environment
  • Good understanding of oncology and haematology principles
