About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one counselling to children and young people in a therapeutic capacity.
  • Work in a minimum of one school per week, with the opportunity to work in multiple schools.
  • Attend regular supervision sessions to ensure high-quality support for children and young people.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of our services and programmes.
About You

We are looking for a qualified Counsellor who is passionate about working with children and young people. You will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds.

You will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. You will have a Diploma in Counselling (Level 4 or above) or a Degree, MSc, or MA in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or Psychotherapy.
