Quality Assurance Role

Build A Rocket Boy is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to contribute to the development of our innovative game, EVERYWHERE. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for ensuring the highest quality gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize testing tasks, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality features.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including test cases and scenarios to validate game functionality and performance.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report defects, providing detailed documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and implement fixes, ensuring minimal impact on the game's overall quality and stability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of testing results, including test reports and defect tracking.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including JIRA and Testrail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with game engines, such as Unreal or Unity, and 3D modeling software, such as 3ds Max or Maya.
  • Knowledge of PC and console testing, including testing on current generation consoles.
