About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team in Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive support in Health, Safety, and Environmental matters, ensuring a safe environment for production and continuous improvement for personal welfare. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting new risk assessments and reviewing existing ones
  • Assisting teams in developing safe systems of work for new and existing processes
  • Completing workplace audits and implementing corrective actions
  • Providing support during internal and external audits
  • Delivering workplace inductions for visitors, contractors, and new starters
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of Behavioural Safety initiatives
  • Supporting site environmental management, including compiling and managing site environmental data
  • Organizing statutory HSE training programs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid experience conducting risk assessments, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable with training, conflict management, and approaching challenging situations
  • Previous audit experience is advantageous
  • Innovative mindset
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification (NEBOSH General Certificate is advantageous)
  • Computer literacy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • A self-starter, proactive, and prepared to take the initiative and work without direct supervision
