Part-time History Educator with Expertise

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Part-time History Teacher to join our prestigious school in the vibrant borough of Lambeth. As a member of our dynamic teaching team, you will design and deliver engaging history lessons, assess student progress, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues, you will contribute to the development of our exciting history curriculum and effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver stimulating history lessons to students.
- Evaluate and assess student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Bachelor's degree in History or related field.
Prior experience teaching history in a school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:- Strong knowledge of the history curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education.
- Experience with exam boards and assessments.
- Part-time hours.
- Classroom teaching environment.
- Potential for extra-curricular activities and school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
