Insurance Risk Management Specialist

Metamorphic Search is partnering with a leading business in the extractive space to fill this critical role. As an Insurance Program Management Specialist, you will play a key part in safeguarding company assets and minimizing liabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on insurance strategies and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
\t- Support the Insurance Manager in maintaining comprehensive insurance coverage for all company assets and liabilities, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
\t - Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify insurance needs and recommend the most appropriate coverage options.
\t - Collaborate with insurance brokers and underwriters to secure the best possible terms and conditions for our insurance policies.
\t - Assist in the effective management of insurance claims, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
\t - Ensure all insurance policies comply with relevant regulations and industry standards, staying up-to-date with the latest legal requirements.
\t - Regularly review and optimize insurance policies to identify opportunities for cost savings and enhanced coverage.
\t - Work closely with finance and legal teams to align insurance strategies with corporate financial and risk management goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
\t- A Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
\t - Experience in the offshore energy insurance market or a related sector with significant operational and financial risks.
\t - In-depth knowledge of liability, indemnity, and insurance regimes in energy contracting.
\t - Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable insurance coverage and terms.
