Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack stock and orders from designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Load customer pallets onto trailers using Material Handling Equipment (MHE), adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization throughout the warehouse, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping standards, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
  • Report any damages or issues to the warehouse Team Leader and Manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Operate MHE equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Expected to operate all MHE required to deliver operational requirements, both current and future.
  • Must possess a reasonable level of verbal and numerical reasoning, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Adaptable approach to training, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Conscientious and reliable, with a good working attitude and a commitment to excellence.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
  • FLT license is desirable but not required.
