We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Director to join our team at Akari Care. As a leading provider of award-winning care homes, we strive to create an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for. Job DescriptionThe Deputy Head Nurse will play a crucial role in supporting the management team to deliver high-quality care services. This will involve supervising teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that all aspects of care meet the highest standards. You will also be responsible for promoting engaging marketing initiatives, guiding colleagues in their training and development, and maintaining a kind, caring, and compassionate approach to all interactions.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure efficient use of funds
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the care home
- Guide colleagues in their training and development to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintain a kind, caring, and compassionate approach to all interactions with residents, families, and staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Experience working within the healthcare sector, preferably in a management or leadership capacity
- A valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery) certificate with an active PIN
- Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits including:
