About the Role:

The Royal Northern College of Music is seeking a skilled Programming Administrator to join its Performance and Programming team. This role involves programming, scheduling, and reconciliation of events within the College's performance programme, ensuring smooth execution and effective collaboration with internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and scheduling of events, including student-led performances and external productions
  • Liaising with internal teams, such as Orchestras and Ensembles, Technical and Production, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Conferencing and Catering
  • Collaborating with external parties, including artists, agents, publishers, promoters, touring companies, and broadcasters
  • Developing and producing print and digital event programmes, and spoken presentations within events

Requirements:

  • Experience in arts administration, with a good knowledge of Western classical music and a broad range of music genres
  • Commitment to supporting the College's belonging, equality, diversity, and inclusion practices
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as planned in advance by rota
