Programming Coordinator

About the Role
The Royal Northern College of Music is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join its Performance and Programming team as a Programming Administrator. This is a great opportunity to build on your knowledge of programming for a public audience in a busy, complex, and vibrant environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the programming, scheduling, and reconciliation of RNCM-promoted events within the College's performance programme.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Orchestras and Ensembles, Technical and Production, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Conferencing and Catering.
- Work with external parties, such as artists, agents, publishers, promoters, touring companies, and broadcasters.
- Take a lead role in the programming and development of student-led performance opportunities.
- Produce print and digital event programmes.
- Develop spoken presentation within events.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have experience working in an arts administration environment and an interest in a broad range of music genres, with a good knowledge of Western classical music.
They must be committed to supporting the College in its belonging, equality, diversity, and inclusion practices and be willing to work some evenings and weekends as planned in advance by rota.
