About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Age UK. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the store's sales and profits, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, providing effective leadership, training, and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize store sales and profits.
  • Ensure that the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets the needs of our customers.
  • Manage the store's inventory, including ordering and receiving stock.
  • Monitor and control store expenses, ensuring that they are within budget.
  • Collaborate with the wider Age UK team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
