About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Bicester team and drive sales and profits in our store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive sales and profits
  • Monitor and control store operations, including stock management, inventory control, and cash handling
  • Ensure compliance with Age UK policies and procedures, including health and safety, data protection, and equal opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of sales and profit growth
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • IT literacy and numeracy skills, with experience of using retail systems and software
