The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious Paraplanner to join our team at The Burford Recruitment Company Ltd. As a key member of our financial planning team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional client services and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Financial Planners to develop and implement tailored financial plans.
  • Conduct thorough research, analysing client data and creating detailed financial models.
  • Design and implement investment strategies that align with client goals and risk tolerance.
  • Build strong relationships with product providers and other stakeholders to secure optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry developments.
  • Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure seamless client experiences.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a paraplanning role.
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Dip PFS) - highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial planning disciplines, including investment management, pensions, tax planning, protection, and estate planning.
  • Advanced skills in cash flow modelling.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with high-net-worth clients or complex financial planning cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised and proactive approach to task management.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
