Job Overview

Expert Employment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on developing advanced motor drives and power electronics circuits for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop next-generation power electronics circuits, including inverter and DC-DC SMPS circuits.
  • Work with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate power electronics into complex systems.
  • Develop and implement high-performance solutions using SiC or GaN FET devices.

Requirements:

  • Power Electronics design experience, including requirements capture, design, and systems integration.
  • Electronic design experience for harsh environments (extreme temperatures, vibration levels).
  • Design experience of Power Electronics for Aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in IGBTs, MOSFETs, Bipolar transistors, and power circuit design up to 500 Amps.
  • Magnetic circuit design of transformers and inductors.
  • Motor control expertise.
  • Analogue circuit design skills.
  • FPGA design and interface electronics knowledge.
