As a Control Design Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge HVDC control systems. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, testing, and deploying HVDC control & protection application functions. You will work closely with a talented team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HVDC control systems that meet strict quality and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of HVDC control systems to ensure their performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical engineering or computer science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in power electronics design and development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience.

Location: Our Glasgow or Birmingham offices with flexibility to work from home office.
