Permanent Contract | £34,834 to £36,648 per annum (Scale I) | 37 hours per week

We are seeking a skilled Highway Compliance Specialist to join our team, working within the Highway Network and Digital Innovation Team based at County Hall in Norwich (hybrid remote working). This role will involve assisting with the delivery of day-to-day operations of our bus lane enforcement cameras, as well as the introduction of new Moving Traffic Enforcement sites, ensuring that robust processes are in place to deliver a consistent and effective enforcement service.

As a Traffic Management Engineer, you will investigate operational issues and carry out routine, proactive inspections of traffic enforcement sites, ensuring the rectification of identified defects in a timely fashion. You will also be required to have a good understanding of the Highways Act, Traffic Management Act and Traffic Signs and General Directions Regulations, although suitable training will be provided.

The successful candidate will need relevant experience in a relevant technical role, ideally with a good understanding of the Highways Act, Traffic Management Act and Traffic Signs and General Directions Regulations. You will be required to work within a team dedicated to improving the safety, comfort and environment of our highway network for Norfolk residents.
