We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd in Aylesbury. As a Graduate Mental Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special needs and emotional issues in a primary school setting.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Psychology or Criminology and be aspiring to become an Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist. They will have a strong passion for working with children and be committed to providing high-quality support to meet the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide one-to-one support to children with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and behavioural difficulties
  • To work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • To contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology or Criminology
  • Aspiring Education Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children with varying needs and abilities
