Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at AJ Bell Management Limited. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you will play a critical role in managing and reporting Information Security Risks faced by our Technology Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Monitoring and Response: Responsible for monitoring and responding to alerts and events, ensuring appropriate prioritization based on impact and urgency.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analysis of large data sets to determine key events and impact of alerts, with a focus on providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Information Security Support: Handling colleague queries relating to information security and acting as a point of escalation for service delivery teams.
- Identity Access Management: Supporting Identity Access Management activity, ensuring that access to our systems, servers, and data is appropriate and in accordance with our security policies.
- Patch Management: Supporting the assessment, planning, and coordination of patch management activities for internal systems and hardware.
- Email and Web Gateway Administration: Supporting the administration of email and web gateways.
- Threat Intelligence: Monitoring external information sources to make recommendations on latest security threats and vulnerabilities that affect our technical estate.
- Threat Intelligence Dissemination: Responsible for the analysis and dissemination of threat intelligence data to key internal stakeholders.
- Metrics and Reporting: Generation of monthly metrics and key performance indicators.
