Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team at AJ Bell. As a key member of our IT Risk & Security team, you will play a critical role in managing and reporting Information Security Risks faced by our Technology Services department.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess and mitigate Information Security Risks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
- Coordinate and respond to external/internal IT audits and due diligence exercises.
- Arrange and support security penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Monitor external information sources to stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assess and recommend patch management activities for internal systems and hardware.
- Support the administration of email and web gateways to ensure secure communication.
- Advise on projects and change initiatives to ensure Information Security is consistently considered.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Information Security Analyst who possesses a strong understanding of Information Security risk management tools and techniques. You should have experience working within recognised Information Security frameworks and best practices, such as ISO27001 and NIST.
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Strong understanding of Information Security solutions, including email/web gateways, SIEM, and Endpoint protection.
- Experience in an Information Security role, preferably in a financial services or e-commerce environment.
- Ability to challenge approach, strategy, and implementation to ensure Information Security is consistently considered and improved.
- Structured, self-starting, flexible, and enjoy working in fast-paced environments.
