About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Delivery Director to join our team at Oak Furnitureland. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering our digital portfolio of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Work with business leaders and technology leadership to understand strategic priorities and define a product roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.
  2. Digital Product Delivery: Drive, advise, and assist business areas to maximize returns from new and existing digital capabilities.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for digital initiative stakeholders and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  4. Ways of Working Definition and Improvements: Support the leadership team in selecting third-party support and defining their ways of working from a delivery perspective.
  5. Quality and Budget Management: Work with QA and Development to ensure the quality and integrity of digital releases, and collaborate with the IT Leadership team and finance to develop and manage the digital delivery budget.
Requirements
  1. Retail/Digital Background: Essential experience in retail and digital environments, with a strong understanding of existing and future digital portfolios.
  2. Delivery Management: Knowledge of delivery management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for effective management of initiatives.
  3. Business Proposals: Experience in preparing and presenting business cases, invitations to tender, and statements of requirements.
  4. Change Management: Knowledge of change management principles, methods, techniques, and tools for successful transition to new ways of working.
  5. Demonstrable Experience: Hands-on experience in defining and implementing new ways of working in a digital delivery environment.
  6. Multi-Supplier Environment: Experience working in a multi-supplier environment, establishing strong partnerships for delivery.
