Electrical Systems Engineer

At Gerrell & Hard, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical systems for our vehicles.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in the integration of electrical systems into vehicle platforms. You will be responsible for creating clean sheet designs, taking them from concept to manufacture, while ensuring that they meet all legislative requirements.

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and generous holiday allowance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for our vehicles
  • Integrate electrical systems into vehicle platforms
  • Create clean sheet designs, taking them from concept to manufacture
  • Ensure that designs meet all legislative requirements
  • Liaise with components suppliers to provide quality and cost-efficient designs

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in the integration of electrical systems into vehicle platforms
  • High level of attention to detail and focus on safety and minimising risk
  • Able to create clean sheet designs, taking them from concept to manufacture
  • Able to understand and translate design requirements into reality
