Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist
Description:
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join their team at an SEN school in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behaviour support to students with SEMH difficulties
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement behaviour plans
- Use restorative practices to promote positive behaviour
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a school or similar setting
- Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs
- GCSE English/Maths at grade A to C or equivalent
- Specific training in interventions/SEN/SEMH
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
