Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diversity and Inclusion Specialist to join our Learning, Development and Inclusion team in the UK Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework within Sisk, taking our EDI agenda to the next level.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work with a leading construction business, shaping our EDIB strategy and delivering innovative learning and education plans that promote inclusive language, behaviour, mentoring, cultural awareness, and inclusive recruitment. You will be working closely with senior leadership teams and stakeholders across the business to influence and engage in the implementation of our EDIB agenda.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EDIB learning and education plans, evaluating their effectiveness and impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape our EDIB strategy, drive its implementation, and ensure it aligns with our company values and goals.
  • Create and deliver communications plans for internal and external stakeholders, promoting our EDIB initiatives and achievements.
  • Support existing Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and help establish new ones, fostering a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • Contribute to policy and process reviews, ensuring they cover the full employee lifecycle and address the breadth of diversity needs.
  • Track and measure the impact of our EDIB initiatives through relevant metrics and KPIs, referencing Gender Pay Gap reports, Irish Centre for Diversity accreditation processes, and employee feedback surveys.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in an EDIB responsible corporate role.
  • Solid knowledge of key topics within the EDIB area, including relevant legislation in Ireland and the UK.
  • A proven track record of working with senior leadership teams and engaging stakeholders in EDIB initiatives.
  • Experience creating, implementing, and delivering actions that positively impact EDIB in a corporate environment.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in HR, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or Management.
