This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, creating tailored and thematic lessons that bring learning to life in fun, creative, and meaningful ways.

The Role:

As a Supply Specialist SEN Teacher, you'll be part of supporting the short-term needs in a multitude of schools in the Hertfordshire area. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering thematic lessons that engage and excite students of all abilities.
  • Adapting your teaching strategies to meet the individual learning needs of pupils, ensuring inclusivity and access for all.
  • Collaborating with support staff and multidisciplinary teams to create a holistic approach to each student's development.
  • Championing the progress of students, providing encouragement, guidance, and a positive environment to help them achieve their personal best.
  • Developing individual education plans (IEPs) that reflect each student's unique learning needs, aspirations, and progress goals.
