Maintenance Manager Job Description

Location: Dudley

Salary: Circa £50k, plus bonus, call out, and company vehicle

Shifts: Days Monday to Friday

CV Library is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of our client's facilities in the Midlands and South East Area.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of 10 maintenance engineers across 7 sites, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
  2. Develop and implement a planned, preventative maintenance programme (PPM) to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  3. Create and drive forward maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  4. Provide technical support to engineers, including fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of machinery.
  5. Manage contractors on site, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of tasks.
  6. Deliver agreed plans and budgets, including established levels of servicing.
  7. Monitor and control all engineering cost lines through robust planning and auditing.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably as an Engineering Manager.

  1. Ideal qualifications include a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, C&G, HNC, HND, or similar.
  2. Experience in setting up policies, procedures, and continuous improvement of TPM, PPM systems.
  3. Proven experience within mechanical or electrical engineering.
