Milestone Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Street Lighting LV Cable Jointer to join our team in Redbridge and Thurrock. As an LV Jointer, you will be responsible for undertaking jointer works on UKPN network for the maintenance and repairing of street furniture across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and correct manner, adhering to Milestone Infrastructure's Safety Management System.
  • Commit to the company's policy on Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality issues.
  • Accurately record all joints, cable positions, and relevant paperwork.
  • Undertake jointing work in accordance with distribution safety rules and the jointing manual.
  • Understand and implement individual task requirements and risk assessments.
  • Maintain health and safety on site for operatives and the public.
  • Remove hazardous materials generated by the jointing process and keep the site clean.
  • Maintain the jointing manual and ensure qualifications and certificates remain current.
  • Clean and maintain electrical test equipment.
Requirements
  • Assessed and authorised by Milestone Infrastructure's Assessing officer.
  • Copies of all certificates obtained.
  • Understanding of Utility plans.
  • First Aid and Manual Handling training.
  • Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Provide leadership to support personnel.
  • Hold a Ners Passport.
