Job Summary:

Milestone Infrastructure is seeking a skilled Street Lighting LV Cable Jointer to join our team. As a Street Lighting LV Cable Jointer, you will be responsible for undertaking jointer works on UKPN network for the maintenance and repairing of street furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be committed to the company's policy on Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality issues.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that all recording of all joints, cable positions and relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Undertake jointing work in accordance with the distribution safety rules and the jointing manual.
  • Maintain the jointing manual with any updates or safety bullets issued by your Line Manager.
  • Clean and maintain all electrical test equipment and observe calibration dates.
  • Ensure that all risk assessments are fully understood and implemented correctly to the individual tasks.

Requirements:

  • First Aid training.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • Ners Passport.
