As a Street Lighting LV Cable Jointer, you will be responsible for undertaking jointer works on the UKPN network for the maintenance and repairing of street furniture across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the company's policies on Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality issues.
  • Accurately record all joints, cable positions, and relevant paperwork.
  • Undertake jointing work in accordance with distribution safety rules and the jointing manual.
  • Maintain the jointing manual with updates or safety bullets issued by your Line Manager.
  • Clean and maintain all electrical test equipment and observe calibration dates.
  • Implement risk assessments correctly for individual tasks.

Requirements:

  • First Aid training.
  • Manual Handling training.
