As a Clinical Consultant Specialist with National Locums, you will work in a prestigious University NHS Trust in the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Locum Endocrinology Consultant with expertise in antenatal & bone metabolism.

This open-ended locum position offers flexibility until a substantive Consultant is appointed. You will be responsible for providing top-notch services at 3 sites across the trust, with travel expenses reimbursed.

  • Outpatients Service: provide expert care to patients at three sites across the Trust.
  • Endocrine/Osteoporosis/Antenatal Clinics: manage clinics and provide guidance on endocrine and osteoporosis treatment.
  • Extensive experience required: possess extensive knowledge of human metabolism and calcium distribution.
  • No on-call duties, but can be incorporated into the plan if desired (1 in 9 weekends).
  • No ward work involved.

The pay package includes expenses for traveling between workplaces (45p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles, and 25p for each mile over the 10,000 mark) and local accommodation arrangements.

Our state-of-the-art hospital boasts excellent local amenities nearby and an international airport within a 60-minute drive. With a 1-year fixed term contract (extendable), starting with 6 months initially, this role presents a fantastic opportunity for growth and development.
