Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Child Protection Specialist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and young people.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading and managing teams of social workers, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality social work practice that prioritizes the needs of children and families.

  • Lead and manage a team of social workers in either the Referral & Assessment or Safeguarding and Care Planning Teams, ensuring effective case management and timely interventions.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency partners to support children and families, promoting a culture of partnership and cooperation.
  • Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in child protection practices.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
