Rate of Pay: £11.44 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Security Officer to join our team at Staffline Operations in Swansea. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff. This is a full-time role, working a 42-hour week, with predominantly night shifts, but also requiring flexibility to work day shifts as overtime. You will need to be willing to assist with holidays and sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of security awareness and vigilance
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any incidents
- Assist with the maintenance of security equipment and systems
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance security skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic computer skills and ability to use security software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
- Ability to pass a DBS check
