Purchase Ledger Assistant

Part-time Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our small finance team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will work 3 full days per week, Monday to Thursday, and be based in our office in Letchworth, Herts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices for both export and import on Sage
  • Process miscellaneous purchase invoices on Sage
  • Raise discrepancies and resolve with the Purchasing/Finance Manager
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies on vendor accounts and monthly statements
  • Process bank entries and reconcile
  • Process credit card statements
  • Process approved expenses
  • Process payments to vendors based on approval by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with vendors and operational areas of the business

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
