Purchase Ledger Assistant

StormX Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase invoices for both export and import to Sage
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
  • Verify and investigate vendor account discrepancies and monthly statements
  • Process bank entries and reconcile statements
  • Process credit card statements and approved expenses
  • Process payments to vendors based on approval by the Finance Manager
  • Support the Finance Manager on general financial matters
Requirements:
  • Solid accounting experience, preferably in an accounts payable/purchase ledger function
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to process data accurately
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly
