About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Custody Detention Officer. As a key member of our custody suite, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of those in our care.

As a Custody Detention Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to detainees, visitors, and contractors. You will work closely with our custody medical teams to ensure the physical and mental health needs of detainees are met.

You will also be responsible for supervising exercise, facilitating legal visits, and providing food. Your attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional care and support to detainees, visitors, and contractors
  2. Work closely with custody medical teams to ensure physical and mental health needs are met
  3. Supervise exercise and facilitate legal visits
  4. Provide food and ensure detainees' needs are met
  5. Work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. GCSE C and above in Maths/Level 2 equivalent
  2. GCSE C and above in English/Level 2 equivalent
