About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Prisoner Custody Officer. As a key member of our Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS) team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure escorting and custody of detainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Search property or people as required, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure food and drink are available to detainees, adhering to dietary requirements and cultural sensitivities.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
  • Reasonable fitness levels, enabling you to perform the physical demands of the role.
