Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapy Assistant Band 4


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Children's Occupational Therapy team at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Assist Occupational Therapists in assessments, treatments, and therapy programs for children with neurological conditions, developmental delays, and coordination difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, providing support and guidance to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and services to children and families.
  • Provide training and education to parents, carers, and nursery staff on therapy programs and techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of therapy equipment, resources, and facilities.

Requirements:



  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy or a related field.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with children with neurological conditions, developmental delays, and coordination difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
