About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Transport Clerk to join our team at Staffing Match. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operational activities within the Traffic Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently manage all transport administration tasks
  • Contribute to the team's efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Carry out all functions in line with company policies and procedures
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Ensure full compliance with tachograph and drivers' hours regulations
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,000 per annum
  • A rate of pay of £12.94 per hour
