Transport Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team at J&J Recruitment Services Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a small night shift operation in Bury St Edmunds for a leading UK contract in the health care industry.
As a Transport Supervisor, you will work closely with the Transport Manager to support the smooth operation of our transport services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of circa 15 drivers and a fleet of class 2 vehicles
- Completing all transport-based duties, including tacho management, driver debriefs, and route planning
- Supporting and developing the team around you
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
We offer a competitive salary of £32,470, a Sunday to Thursday night shift, and no weekends. You will also receive a strong benefits scheme, which will be discussed in more detail during the application process.
