Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead our Hybrid IT Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams through the project management lifecycle, from initiation to closeout.
  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with ITD management and staff to ensure successful project execution.
  • Communicate project status and expectations to technical and business staff.
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractors to execute projects.
  • Adhere to VDOT and VITA project management practices and governance requirements.
  • Maintain project documentation, including requirements, use cases, and test plans.
  • Define and measure project progress using metrics.
  • Support system and application training efforts.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience managing large projects.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Current PMP certification from PMI or PM certification from VITA.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure delivery, including networking, physical plant, vendor management, and site provisioning.
  • Experience managing large, multi-stream projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management.
  • Agile Scrum Master certification.
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
