About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our dynamic and cross-functional team as a Category Supply Chain Manager at Sainsbury's. This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring on-shelf availability and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a portfolio of products and ensure the smooth flow of goods through the supply chain to meet service targets.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Buyers and Category Managers, to support the delivery of business objectives.
- Plan and manage seasonal events, control stock levels, and nurture relationships with our global supplier base.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of supply chain management in a high-volume environment.
- Proven track record of effectively managing diverse portfolios of products and achieving service targets.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in data analysis and numeracy, coupled with the ability to prioritize and handle high-pressure situations.
