Job Summary:
As a Senior Care Assistant with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, you will play a vital role in promoting and ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion in the delivery of care services.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and monitoring standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care setting, preferably with older people, people with disabilities, or those with mental health needs.
- Knowledge of care planning, quality assurance, and monitoring standards.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
- Willingness to maintain registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
- Commitment to working within the Christian ethos of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
