Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Orion Electrotech. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers across the UK and occasionally in Europe, USA, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex hydraulic and electrical systems on special purpose machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for our customers.
  • Document work and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Engineering qualification, ideally mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent QBE.
  • Experience in an engineering technical support role.
  • Physically fit and able to lift 40kg unassisted.
  • Extensive experience in fault diagnosis on hydraulic systems and electrical circuits.
