About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Assistant to join our team at Kenton Black Finance. As a Financial Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their financial needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure their financial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ad hoc reports
  • Support with the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
  • Provide support at year end
  • Assist with preparing information for internal and external audits
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of ledgers and journals
  • Support with AP and credit control as required
  • Responsibility for payroll processing
  • Communicate with a variety of internal stakeholders to deliver financial insight and advice
Requirements
  • Actively studying CIMA/ACCA or be AAT qualified and keen to continue further study
  • Strong systems skills, particularly advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLookups) with experience of handling large and complex data sets
  • Exposure to month end and management accounting processes
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
