Job Title: Senior Capability Owner - Salesforce CPQ

This role is part of our Global Business Operations team, responsible for owning and driving the capabilities of the Salesforce Platform, with a specific focus on CPQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the platform delivers world-class capabilities that support AVEVA's sales policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the Salesforce Platform to meet AVEVA's sales policies and processes.
  • Develop and implement business requirement definitions, roadmaps, and articulations for all stages of the implementation of Salesforce and CPQ Platforms.
  • Implement platform developments that enhance the Lead to Contract Journey and improve business productivity and proficiency.
  • Coordinate and develop the Customer Journey roadmap, working with Group Process Owners across end-to-end business processes.
  • Own the prioritization and timing agenda for the business, in consultation with key business stakeholders.
  • Lead the implementation of new programs to enhance the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Collaborate with IT in the planning, budgeting, and management of spend for business tools, and own business benefits definition and realization of new capabilities.
  • Ensure systems reporting capability meets business stakeholder requirements to allow for effective management of business outcomes from end-to-end business processes.
Requirements
  • Customer and business-focused platform owner with a deep understanding of end-to-end policies and processes required to manage the development of global platform capabilities that support the global AVEVA organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing the Salesforce | CPQ platform, and a detailed understanding of CPQ and associated business impacts.
  • A clear understanding of drivers and requirements, including an understanding of 'what best practice looks like' anchored on Salesforce and specifically CPQ capabilities.
  • Demonstrates a sound knowledge and experience of commercial management, including external and internal business cases and managing internal operational budgets.
  • Change and communications management – understanding and ability to assess the impacts of platform changes for sales and associated downstream business owners, and be able to communicate clearly and concisely benefits in business terms.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder requirements and expectations.
  • Experience of defining, owning, and embedding consistent CRM/CPQ and CLM processes across a large global organization.
  • Strong domain knowledge and implementation experiences with supporting tools for end-to-end Business Process Management.
  • Ability to communicate clearly at a leadership level and also content to operate at grass roots level.
  • Able to operate comfortably at a detailed as well as a strategic level.
Technical/Professional Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or Equivalent Professional Experience.
