Environmental Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Sales Manager to join our team at The Language Business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in export sales development and a proven track record of identifying and developing new distributor accounts.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing an export sales team
- Analysing country-by-country sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth
- Identifying, appointing, and developing new distributors and supporting existing distributors
- Developing indirect sales and marketing strategies
- Identifying opportunities for lucrative new product development
- Developing relationships with a growing emphasis on video presentation as part of our carbon emission reduction strategy
The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluent English is essential. Fluent in additional languages strongly preferred, ideally Spanish or French but all languages considered.
- Previous experience in an export sales development role
- Experience in selecting, appointing, and developing new distributor accounts
- The ability to travel internationally when required
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Good administrative, organisational, and time management skills
- Strong research skills and good commercial awareness
