Job Title: Procurement Leader

Location: Barrow-In-Furness

Salary: Circa £45,000, dependent on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all related Supply Chain activity in line with area of responsibility
  • Developing and applying activities that deliver on People (Resourcing & Capabilities), Process, Technology & reporting which support the successful delivery of the SC function
  • Communicating effectively with functional and external stakeholder management and deputise for the SC Senior Manager as required
  • Contract management – major subcontract & transactional
  • Managing a team of procurement professionals

Requirements:

  • Supply Chain, Procurement or Project Management experience
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management
  • ERP & PLM System knowledge
  • Microsoft Package User Experience
  • Experience of working within aerospace, defence and/or MOD packages
  • Previously held line management responsibility

About the Role:

This is a fast-paced, commercial procurement environment with a varied range of development opportunities, working as part of a diverse team to deliver part of the UK's National Defence Programme.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
