Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Corporate Insolvency Specialist to lead a team and oversee corporate insolvency cases for a distinguished firm in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, conducting detailed investigations, and developing strategies for asset realization and creditor repayment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and voluntary arrangements, from initiation to closure.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into the financial affairs of insolvent companies, analyzing financial data and developing actionable plans.
  • Develop and implement strategies for asset realization and creditor repayment, ensuring compliance with relevant insolvency legislation.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for creditors, regulatory bodies, and courts, providing clear updates on case progress.
  • Lead and conduct creditors' meetings, providing expert guidance and updates on case developments.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the firm's growth strategies, leveraging expertise in corporate insolvency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate insolvency, with at least 2 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of insolvency law, regulations, and best practices, with a strong understanding of the UK financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to manage complex insolvency cases effectively, with a track record of successful asset realization and creditor repayment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and develop actionable plans.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in using insolvency software and MS Office Suite, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Commercially aware, with a proactive approach to business development and a strong understanding of the UK financial services industry.
