Supporting Young People in a Residential Setting

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to work with our team in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport. This role offers a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and contribute to the success of our charity.

The Together Trust Centre has been providing individual care, support, and education to hundreds of children, young people, and adults each year, making a significant impact in the North West community.

Job Overview:

This role involves working in a residential setting, supporting the development of young people through effective team working and contributing to the achievement of high quality standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the team to create a supportive environment for young people, promoting their life chances and achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and achieve high standards of care.
  • Supervise and/or undertake keyworking responsibilities, focusing on the needs of individual young people, especially those requiring more complex support.
  • Maintain awareness of safeguarding issues, identifying risks and taking appropriate action to protect vulnerable individuals.
Requirements and Benefits:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A QCF Level 4 qualification in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Strong written and IT skills, with ability to write reports and maintain accurate records.
  • A valid driving licence, with at least 12 months' experience.

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including:
